RADMAC News:
-
Dave Grey has once again organised a fun fly and BBQ event at
Enstone airfield for the 18th September. See Dave for details
-
Due to the Beale park lake being occupied by the Pangbourne
Adventure Dolphin Group, while their facilities are undergoing
work, there will be no spring Float plane fly-in. For this reason
there was no 09 autumn event either. We hope to be able to hold an
event autumn 2010 as usual.

Crashed your ARFT and don't have the time or know how to fix
it?
Want a model built from plans?
Then look no further. Long time member of Reading club Dave
Belcher has recently set up his own business doing just this, from
Dave's web site:
-
With
a background in Electrical Engineering I have recently given up
the day job to pursue my passion for model aircraft.
I have over 40 years experience, building and flying model
aircraft, and I'm also a BMFA examiner and qualified
instructor.
I started D T Model Services to help the average club flyer get
flying and keep them flying. To this end I can offer the following
services at very reasonable rates:-
-
Build and set up RTF and ARTF
models
-
Build from kit
-
Build from plans
-
Repairs and modifications to all
models
-
Foam wing cutting
-
Engine repairs or modifications
subject to parts
-
Convert IC to electric or electric
to IC
-
I will finish and set up a model or
start one for you to finish yourself
As
I am not tied into any supplier or shop I am able to get the best
deals around, or even use your own parts.
Contact
Dave via his own web site here.

of dedicated helicopter pilots and there are even a
select few who fly free-flight or control-line.
The club has use of a flying field by

flight means any model powered by an Internal
Combustion engine including airboats and power
assisted gliders.
Reminder: please note that the extended hours at Dreadnought
are for 'silent flight' - with the advances in motor power and
battery technology, some electric models, generically considered
to fall in this category, are far from silent. Please help us keep
our flying field and fly responsibly.
Silent flight means any non-I/C powered models
(including electric, rubber, CO2 power) or
gliders.
